A Brief Overview of the Project
On May 28th, 2023, Mengniu—a giant in the global dairy industry—unveiled a groundbreaking achievement: the launch of the world’s first fully intelligent dairy factory in Ningxia, China. Mengniu is a major player not only in China but also across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and North America.
To maintain its market leadership and embrace the next wave of industrial innovation, Mengniu partnered with 39 global leaders—Zhongya among them—to build this cutting-edge facility, called Mengniu Super Plant. Completed in just 18 months, and integrating over 1,270 advanced technologies, the factory is now the world’s largest single-site liquid milk production facility.
Zhongya’s Role in the World’s First Smart Superplant
Zhongya played an essential role, designing and manufacturing the core digital packaging production line. Responsible for the entire post-filling production process across all 24 state-of-the-art lines, Zhongya ensured that products move seamlessly from packaging to automated storage. Zhongya’s key innovations include cutting-edge “black technologies” that enable fully unmanned, intelligent production lines.
